Scientific Foundations

Scientific Foundations

PARSHIP is in the vanguard of scientific research into couples and their relationships. The respected psychologist Professor Dr Hugo Schmale has been researching in this area since the 1960s. His findings form the foundation of the PARSHIP‘s compatibility matching, with its track record of bringing together couples for long-term relationships.

The PARSHIP test: well worth 20 minutes of your time

  • At the heart of PARSHIP is a scientifically-based procedure which starts off with the PARSHIP compatibility test. It assesses 30 aspects of your personality which are important in the context of a successful relationship.
  • Answer the test questions spontaneously and honestly: your results will produce your list of recommended partners – people who could be genuinely right for you.

Your recommended partners
On the basis of your personality profile PARSHIP produces your personalised list of recommended partners. These are people who balance you with a particular combination of similarities and differences. It’s then up to you to look more carefully at their profiles and to decide which of your recommended partners you’d like to get to know better.

The in-depth personality report: What you bring to a relationship and who is right for you?
Every 3-month or 6-month Premium Membership includes a fully personalised in-depth report. This will tell you about your personality, with a special emphasis on finding and sustaining a relationship – and on the kind of person who is really right for you. The report is about 80 pages long and supplied by email as a pdf file.
